SanOTC- OTC market kept on falling down with lighter trading volume. Banks announced earning in turn but the news could not help hike the price. Some to-be-listed stocks increased slightly but could not keep heat for the market, trading was sluggish in line with the listed ones.
After the debut gain, VCB fell continuously to 51,500 VND a share and Vietinbank is said to be listed with start price of 50,000 VND a share on 16 July seemed to increase the fear of further going down in these banks shares. On OTC market Vietinbank share was traded at around 40,000 VND a share only with limited successful transactions. MB hovered around 29,000 VND this week and the buying –selling activities were also low. Eximbank was one of the most active stocks on OTC market this week after announcing earning of 813 billion VND for the first 6 months of the year or 54,2% year plan of 1500 billion VND and 22% dividend in stock later this July. However, EIB stock price did not change much over the week and was traded at around 26,700 -26,900 VND a share. HDBANK announced 128 billion VND earring for the first half of the year; up 200% over the same period last year. HDB recorded no transaction in the past few days. The latest trading price of this stock was 14,000 VND a share. VPB announced pre-tax profit in the first 5 months of the year of 125 billion VND or 45% year plan. VPB was marginally up in the end of the week to 15,500 VND a share. Regarding other banking stocks, LVB at 11,000 VND; EAB at 26,000 VND; OCB at 14,000 VND; VAB at 10,500 VND, MSB at 19,500 VND, PNB at 14,500 VND DAB at 14,000 VND and SCB at 19,000 VND. Stocks of other groups Stocks lost across the board but the range was narrow. PvgasD was at 38,500 VND; Sabeco was at 35,000 VND; DIC as at 54,000 VND; Casumina at 39,000 VND; Intresco at 45,000 VND; Sacomreal at 19,800 VND; Masan at 70,000 VND, PHR at 35,000 VND and Pvcoms at 17,700 VND. Securities stocks were sluggish. FPTS at 13,300 VND, DVSC at 11,000 VND. UPCoM market was traded in the third week and for this week it lost 2.01 points to 72,45, volume was falling down.
