Viet Tien Garment Co. reports 28pct revenue spike   2009-05-06 - Sanotc

Viet Tien Garment Joint Stock Co. (VTEC) reported gaining 343 billion dong in Q1 revenue, increasing 28 percent against 2008, and an after tax profit of 15.7 billion dong.

The company plans to reach a turnover of 1.470 trillion dong and 52 billion dong in after-tax profit this year.

VTEC's 2008 revenue was posted at 1.397 trillion dong and a profit of 46.9 billion dong.

The company's export market structure gained after Q1 includes Japan (accounting for 33 percent of its export turnover), US 23 percent, EU 26.5 percent and the others 17.2%(VNSN)
